Alopé was created by linking the visions of the Mexican guardian of Aztec traditions Xolotle Martinez and the Czech guide to personal and spiritual development Jan František Bím.
Xolotl was invited by a friend in 2014 to attend the 9th meeting of the wise grandmothers and grandfathers of the Planet in Guatemala, meeting of elders of the whole world. To his great surprise, at the end of the meeting he was given a sacred travelling stick that marked him as the organizer of the next meeting in Mexico. So he started to look for collaborators, a venue, as well as financial resources, and the 10th meeting of elders in Mexico really took place on the days of the autumn equinox of 2015. From this point on, Xolotl’s vision unfolds, a vision to create space where men and women come to share their visions and practices, introduce their art, music, medicine and other knowledge of Bing. For him, space is a connection of the traditions and wisdom of all countries and continents. Primarily by linking the Heart of the Condor (as the Indians call Peru, where the first meeting of elders took place, as a representative of South America), the Heart of the Eagle (nickname of Mexico, as a representative of North America) and the Heart of Europe (i.e. the Czech Republic and a representative of Europe). Therefore, in the Czech Republic, he started to organize ceremonies for fire, for water and to look for facilities and collaborators to create an organization.
At the turn of 2016 and 2017, Jan was looking for a vision for the next period. He passed a sweat lodge from which he had no clear message, but at the departure an orange book in a bookcase with books to take appealed to him. It was a biographical narrative about the Indian chief Tekumseh, who built the city of Open Door, where he invited representatives of all the tribes of North America. Thanks to him, for the first time in history, representatives of all tribes sat down to one counsel fire, overcoming long-term hostilities and listening to each other. Jan, who had already sat in the circle with other people in the past nine years as a personal and spiritual guide, understood that it was time to expand the circle. Create a place where representatives of all races, religions and spiritual directions can sit in one circle. Listen to one another and pass on the wisdom of ancestors and contemporary knowledge to everyone who wants to listen and learn.
Thanks to a series of synchronicities, in September 2017, shortly before the autumn equinox, Xolotl, Jan, Bára, Lucie, Honza, Jana, Gabriela and Eva gathered in a clearing in Železné hory Mountains, in the middle of the Czech Republic. They listened to both Xolotl’s and Jan’s vision and joined a common intention. Since then, the story of Alopé has begun.
